Former Delta State Governors, Chief James Onanefe Ibori and Dr.
Emmaunel Ewetan Uduaghan and Chief Great Ovedje Ogboru, their greatest
political rival dropped their political differences and reunited with
each other at the burial ceremony of late Itsekiri Leader, Pa. Johnson
Oritsegbubemi Sunday Ayomike which held November 3 at the First
Baptist Church, Warri, Delta State.
The trio exchanged pleasantries, shook hands and sat almost close to
each other as they condoled with the families of Pa. Ayomike.

It is not clear if today’s unity between Ibori, Uduaghan and Chief
Great Ovedje Ogboru who sat in front of the immediate past Speaker of
the Delta State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Monday Ovwigho Igbuya is
part of plans for him is to dump the All Progressives Congress,APC for
the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Delta.
The Acting Governor of Delta State, Barr. Kingsley Otuaro also condoled with the deceased family and enjoined them to emulate all their father stood for.
Otuaro described the late Pa. J.O.S as a ” Community leader and leader
of thought who contributed to the development of the Itsekiri Nation,
Delta State and Nigeria.
Guest Speaker of the event, advised his audience to be prepared and
not allow death catch up with them.
Present at the event were the former President of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) Pastor Ayo Oritaejafor, NFF President, Mr. Pinnick Amaju, the Oloygbotsere of Warri Kingdom, Chief Ayiri Emami, representative of the Olu of Warri Kingdom, HRM. Ogiame Ikenwoli, Hon. Daniel Reyenieju, Sen. James Manager and Dr. Alex Ideh amongst
others.
