A Kaduna State High Court of Justice presided by Honourable Justice Hauwa Gwadah has issued an order of interlocutory injunction restraining Kaduna State Government and three others from encroaching or tampering with the farmlands in Sobawa layout of Rigachikun District in Igabi Local Government of the state.

Justice Gwadah gave the order on 24th October, 2017 after considering a motion to that effect brought by the counsel to the plaintiffs, M. M. Abdullahi Esq.

She restrained the Kaduna State Government and the three other dependants; Abdulmumini Nasir, KADGIS and Moss International Limited “either by themselves or by their representatives, privies or assigns, from entering into, surveying, plotting, selling, felling trees or dealing in whatever way whatsoever with the land subject matter of this action pending the hearing and determination of the substantive case.

“It will be recalled, the farmers and land owners at Sobawa village have jointly and collectively filled a suit challenging the claim by the State Ministry of Land, otherwise known as KADGIS of the ownership of the land or any part thereof.”

The matter has been adjourned to Thursday 23rd November, 2017.
