Police Nabs 3 Armed Robbers For Snatching Jeep At Gunpoint



    The Ebrumede Police Divisional Headquarters at about 9:15am on Wedneday
    arrested three suspected armed robbers for allegedly snatching an
    Acura jeep and other belongings from one Chief Emmanuel Erute at
    gunpoint along the PTI Road in Effurun,Uvwie Local Government Area,
    Delta State.

    The suspects are, Tega Omokekere, Godspower Wilson and Awara Samson.

    Their arrests were effected by by the DCO II ASP Lucky Imasuen based
    on a report by the victim at the police station.

    The police first arrested one of the suspects, Tega Omokekere who gave
    useful information that led to subsequent arrest of the two
    others,Godspower Wilson and Awara Samson at the Mechanics Village in

    Chief Emmanuel Erute stated that he was returning to his house at

    Andrew Aniamaka stated that,” Three suspects have been transferred to
    State Headquarters in Asaba for further investigation”

    DSP Aniamaka vowed that the police will continue to make the State
    uncomfortable for criminals especially in this festive period.
