A prophet in Apostolic Church, Ntak Inyang, Esit Eket Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State, Godwin Bassey has advised the state governor, Mr Udom Emmanuel and member representing Eket Federal Constituency in the National Assembly, Mrs Owoidighe Ekpoattai not to run for second term in their different offices because the people of the state will not vote for them.
Prophet Bassey, who is popularly called “Prophet Zebedee” said God revealed to him that if the governor and the National Assembly member run for a second term in office in 2019, they will be disgraced, because they will be defeated heavily in the election, adding that God has never spoken to him and it failed to come to pass.
The clergy who made the revelation in Esit Eket Local Government Area during the New Year prayer meeting of his church, also informed the congregation that in 2011, God sent him on this similar mission to tell Mrs Eme Uffot Ekaetee, a former Senator for Akwa South Senatorial District, which he delivered to then Senator, but she refused to listen and was defeated in her re-election bid.
He said, “In 2015 God sent me to warn Barrister Bassey Dan Abia Jnr, not to waste money in contesting for a second term, but I was not taken seriously, it came to pass.
“This time around, God has shown me how fierce the 2019 gubernatorial election in Akwa Ibom State will be and how Governor Udom Emmanuel would not make a second term,” the prophet stressed.
Though the cleric said, God did not reveal to him the person that will take over from the governor in 2019, but he was showed how Udom Emmanuel was dethroned from his seat as governor of the state.
The Cleric further revealed that the member representing Eket Federal constituency in the National Assembly, Mrs Owoidighe Ekpoattai will not even be given a ticket of her political party to contest for a second term, and because of that, she will not be elected for a second term.
He also prophesied that Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly will be divided in 2019 as many members will be elected under the platform of All Progressives Congress (APC).
He called on Christians and all Nigerians to pray fervently for general peace in the country, as the devil has unleashed his agents to cause bloodbath in Nigeria in order to destabilize the unity of the country, adding that with prayers, the country will overcome its trying moments, especially during the general elections in 2019.
