The Rector of Delta State Polytechnic, Ozoro, Prof. Job Orienru Akpodiete has advised both fresh and old students of the polytechnic to pursue their educational ambition vigorously with absolute determination and doggedness.
Prof Akpodiete gave this advised during the 2017/2018 academic session matriculation for fresh Students of the institution, warning the new intakes to take their studies very seriously in order for them to graduate with good grades and not be a drop outs.
He said that, “The institution has zero tolerance for all acts of
misconduct which have been clearly stated in the Students handbook.
Read it thoroughly to acquaint yourselves with the rules and regulations of the institution. For ignorance is never an excuse in law.”
On infrastructural development, Prof Akpodiete said that, upon his resumption in March 2017, that a construction of a befitting polytechnic guest house has been embarked upon to cater for the polytechnic guests and others.
While assuring the fresh students that they will be expose to different areas of entrepreneurship through hand on skills acquisition during the course of their study in the polytechnic to be a employers of labour rather than job seekers on graduation.
