* says no party is a push over

The former Senior Special Assistant to Former Governor of Plateau State Jonah Jang on Project Monitoring, Hon Emmanuel Macham (JP) has called on Nigerians and the citizens of Plateau State to ensure the proper custody and routine checks of their permanent voters card (PVC) ahead of the 2019 General elections.
Macham made the call in a telephone chat with our correspondent from Abuja, expressing happiness with the way and manner almost all the registered political parties in Nigeria are beginning to spring up and work hard ahead of the general elections.
He said no party among the registered parties is now a push over, a development he considers good for strengthening Nigeria’s democracy.
“Moving round the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja you will be shocked with how most of these parties national offices are wearing a new look. This long awaited development will surely reduce the high level of impunity and rascality practiced within our political party system,” he said.
He called on youth across the country to be ready to cast their votes and defend them.
“No mater what it takes, our votes must count for whosoever wishes to emerge in the various elective offices.”
He prayed that the insecurity witnessed in Plateau and Nigeria would be a priority of all political parties wishing to win elections.
“General TY Danjuma Rtd has said the minds of Nigerians. Everyday news of attacks keep resurfacing with no pronouncement with no practical action aimed at ending the menace from the Federal Government,” he concluded.
