The Federal Ministry of Youth and Sports North-West Zonal office has announced that it would be hosting a 4-day coaching course sponsored by the President of the Nigeria Volleyball Federation (NVBF), Engineer Musa Nimrod.
A statement signed by the Zonal Coordinator, Olusola Luke and made available to newsmen on Saturday April 21, 2018 informed that the clinic is billed to commence on April 25, 2018.
“This is to inform you that the Federal Ministry if Youth and Sports Development North-West Zone in conjunction with the Nigeria Volleyball Federation has concluded necessary arrangements for the conduct of a 4-day Coaches Course on the game of volleyball under the sponsorship of the able President of NVBF, Engineer Musa Nimrod (Garkuwan Matasa Arewa),” it informed.
According to the statement, the capacity building programme has a theme; ‘Train the Trainers for effective and efficient output’.
“It is designed for all volleyball coaches in the zone,” it added.
The statement said that other expected participants are games masters/mistresses from secondary schools in Kaduna State, military and paramilitary organisations within Kaduna State as well as coaches from tertiary institutions.
It informed that sessions would hold at the Ahmadu Bello Stadium (ABS), Kaduna from 9am to 4:30pm daily from April 25 to 28, 2018.
The seven states that make up the zone; Jigawa, Kaduna, Kano, Katsina, Kebbi, Sokoto and Zamfara are expected to feature.
