The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) @ Your Door Campaign Forum has described former Governor of Kaduna State, Dr. Mukhtar Ramalan Yero as a shinning example of a democrat to Nigerian youth.
This was expressed in a statement signed by its National Publicity Secretary, Jacob Onjewu Dickson, made available to newsmen in Kaduna on Tuesday May 1, 2018.
The statement quoted the forum’s National chairman, Comrade Ibrahim Dahiru Danfulani as saying Kaduna State and it’s youth hail the way he was matured in handling critics during his stint as governor of the state.
“He was a young governor who concentrated on governance without being distracted by politics or critics. A true democrat and an inspiration to the youth not just in Kaduna State, but the entire nation,” it said.
The forum wished him well on his birthday and prayed for more fruitful years to be added to him by the creator.
“As you celebrate the golden age of 50 today, we pray for more wisdom and God’s blessings to see you through many more years to come,” it stated.
The group used the opportunity to call on Nigerian youth to get their Permanent Voters Card (PVC) with which they will vote for the right crop of leaders that would allow them enjoy their democratic rights unhindered.
