As the countdown to the long awaited Kaduna State Local Government Polls reflects two days to conduct, the Peoples Democratic Party ( PDP) @ Your Door Campaign has advise d electorate in the state to free themselves from the shackles of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
The advice was contained in a statement signed by its National Publicity Secretary, Jacob Onjewu Dickson and made available to newsmen in Kaduna on Thursday.
According to the statement, National Coordinator of the PDP @ Your Door Campaign, Comrade Ibrahim Dahiru Danfulani said that there is no better time in to show the APC that Nigerians are tired of their lies and deceit than now.
“Nigerians were scammed into believing there was a change agenda, but it us apparent that the change that was voted for has only been a selfish agenda of some elites who rode on the wings of Nigerians to claim power.
“All Nigerians have witnessed in the last three years is endemic poverty, slavery and deaths,” it stated.
The forum told Kaduna voters to show their disapproval of the oppressive and dictatorial regime of the APC at the state and national level by ensuring that all those elected in the 255 wards and 23 local government areas are candidates of PDP.
“Join us in achieving 23/23 in the local government areas and 255/255 in the wards at the Kaduna LG Polls billed for Saturday,” it stated.
The statement reminded the electorate that things have never been this bad.
“They claim our party looted, but Nigerians were not hungry. They claim they brought change, the only change we see is from riches to poverty, from freedom to chains, from abundance to lack, from respect of human rights to oppression.
“We can set the pace for ending that on Saturday. We want nothing short if the 23 LGAs,” it stated.
