He noted that the hospital and would have state-of-the-art facilities and professional staff that would provide Nigerians, especially those in Kano, with the much needed quality health care services.

“This new hospital will support the work of our two new hospitals. I am happy to inform you that we have resolved to name the new Pediatric Hospital at Zoo road after our late Sheikh Ishaq Rabi’u in view of his contributions to the progress of our people”,  the governor maintained.

The governor told the gathering that during his life time, the late sage was passionate about his desire to actualize his private university, At-Tanzeel University, pointing out that on some occasions, the late Sheikh personally took him to the proposed university complex to assess its completion.

Gov. Ganduje therefore, assured that his administration would do its best to support his family to actualize the project, expressing that with what he knew about the family, they would do everything to remain united and keep their father’s dreams alive.

He urged the family to take solace in the fact that their patriarch lived and died in the service of Allah and humanity, saying such was worthy of emulation.
