Former Minister of Aviation, Chief Femi Fani Kayode has described reports saying he has dumped the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) as a lie manufactured by the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
He expressed this in a statement made available to AUTHENTIC News Daily on Monday May 21, 2018, signed by his Special Assistant on Social Media, Bisi Olawunmi.
“Reports that Chief Femi Fani-Kayode, the former Minister of Aviation, has left the PDP and joined the SDP are false. Such reports are nothing but social-media gossip and fake news put out by disgruntled elements working for the Buhari administration,” he said.
The statement said that such rumours should are be ignored and treated with the contempt that they deserve.
It would be recalled that on Sunday, news broke on the defection of former Deputy Governor of Osun State, which is Chief Fani-Kayode’s home state, Senator Iyiola Omisore decamped to the SDP.
