The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has vowed to sustain its allegations that the Army and Police aided the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in perpetuating illegalities in the Kaduna State local council Polls held on Nay 12, 2018.

PDP in a reaction to the Army’s call for retraction within 7 days of allegations of involvement in alleged rigging of polls in a statement issued on Sunday, signed by Assistant Director Army Public Relations, 1 Div, Colonel Mohammed Dole, said they are laced with evidences.

State Publicity Secretary of the party, Abraham Alberah Catoh expressed this in a conversation with our correspondent.

“We are waiting for them, we have pictorial and video evidences to back our claims,” he said.

It would be recalled that main opposition PDP had cried foul following results announced by the Kaduna State Independent Electoral Commission (KADSIECOM), claiming that its candidates swept the polls in the 23 local government councils in the state.

PDP said that the APC using security agencies comprising Army and Police in stealing its mandate.

A video circulated by a PDP Chieftain who was a former commissioner in the state alleged that the returning officer of Makarfi Ward in Makarfi Local Government Area announced its candidate winner, but was shocked that a different candidate from the ruling party was announced winner.
