In view of their impressive records in respective fields, two athletes from the Coach Felix Academics and Sports Foundation (CFASF) are currently shinning in the National camp ahead of the Africa Youth Games.
The athletes are Abdulakeem Idris for 1,500metres and Hajara Haruna for 400/200metres.
It was reliably gathered that besides excelling in their athletics training, they have been exhibiting high level of discipline and stand out as examples for other athletes on camp.
They were invited by the Athletics Federation Nigeria (AFN) and have been in camp at the Agura Hotel Abuja since May 28,2018.
In a chat with our correspondent, Coach Felix Osiebe, founder of CFASF said they are excited that barely two years after launching the foundation, they are gaining national recognition.
“We thank God two of our athletes are currently at the National Youth Camp at the prestigious Agura Hotel, Abuja in preparation for Africa Youth Games in Algeria,” he said.
he recalled how CFASF began in November 2016.
“We are into free talent discovery, developing and delivery, ” he added.
