Worried by the killing of innocent Nigerians with impunity by heartless Fulani  Militia,  the United States  Government,  led by President Donald Trump  is seeking out ways to end the carnage.
In view of that,  Washington DC opinion leaders have   resolved to work and stand with Nigeria to stop impunity and killing of citizens of Nigeria.
AUTHENTIC NEWS Daily reliably gathered  from  a source that they  expressed this at a meeting of Policy Think-tank members for the Trump Administration, and Senior Congressional Staff Members at a high-powered closed door meeting on Nigeria on Saturday.
In attendance were General TY Danjuma (rtd) of the International Committee on Nigeria ( ICON), Governor Darius Ishiaku of Taraba State, Dr Yakubu Turaki, and Dr. Adeniyi Ojutiku of The Nigeria Working Group, USA.
It would  be recalled that  killings suspected to be tied to control of land resources  are being  recorded in several states in Nigeria,  with the North Central States worst hit.
Taraba and Benue States assemblies  passed  the anti open grazing bill in their  respective  States to end clashes between farmers and herders but have since then suffered coordinated attacks  on communities resulting to several loss of lives,  with the attackers suspected to be  Fulani  militias,  burning their homes and sacking entire villages.
The development has so far overwhelmed security operatives that have also lost several personnel  with calls for overhaul of the security apparatus getting louder.
