The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) @Your Door Campaign Forum has advised Kaduna Electorate that the best way they can show support for former Governor Mukhtar Ramalan Yero as he is set to be granted bail on Wednesday is to vote massively for the party at the local government Polls scheduled to take place in five local government areas on Wednesday June 6, 2018.
This was contained in a statement signed by its National Publicity Secretary, Okpani Jacob Onjewu Dickson, made available on Tuesday in Kaduna.
“You have demonstrated your love for your former Governor, Dr Mukhtar Ramalan Yero when he was in court last week. This week, we urge you to do even more by remaining in your wards and local government areas for those that elections would be holding in their areas.
“Be there, vote for PDP, urge others to vote for your party PDP and wait till the votes are counted and escort same to Wards collation and local government collation centres in lawful manners, ” it stated.
The statement informed that the National Coordinator of the forum, Comrade Ibrahim Dahiru Danfulani Urges all supporters of the party to be law abiding before, during and after the polls.
“When our party is announced winner in all the five LGAs, also celebrate in peace, ” it advised.
The forum said that it was optimistic that PDP candidates will emerge winners of all the outstanding five LGAs.
“We are optimistic of sweeping the polls and claiming victory in all the remaining five LGAs,” the forum said.
It further advised those who elections would not be taking place in their areas that would be going to court in solidarity with Yero, to be law abiding.
“Our party is known to be peaceful, that is why Nigerians love us. We must continue to exhibit that and have faith in the judiciary, ” it concluded.
