The returning Officer that announced the fake results of Chikun LGA is not a staff of the Kaduna State Independent Electoral Commission (KADSIECOM).
This was disclosed by the Chairman of KADSIECOM, Dr. Saratu Dikko-Audu at a press briefing held at the commission’s head office in Kaduna on Friday.
She explained that the returning officer Dr. Sani Mohammed was an imposter, unknown to the commission.
She said that elections did not hold there because their office was invaded.
“Chikun LGA held no elections on June 6 during the rescheduled polls because our office was invaded and staff molested, elections did not hold, ” she stressed.
On the situation in Kaura, she said that some stakeholders in Kaura refused to let the materials distributed until they see Returning Officers, a development that prevented polls from holding.
In Jaba LGA, she said that two different results were announced, a development that has made the commission to advise the APC and PDP to seek justice at the elections tribunal.

Kaduna South winner of the Chairmanship election is Kabiru Yakubu Jarimi of the APC.

Returning Officer claiming to be representing (RO) for KADSIECOM, who identified himself as Sani Mohammed (PhD) declared the results of the rescheduled elections on Wednesday, at the Chikun Local Government Secretariat backed by combined security forces in several trucks providing protection.
He announced that the APC polled 52,660, while the PDP polled 28,198.
