The Ovie of Uvwie Kingdom in Uvwie Local Government Area of Delta State, HRM. Emmanuel Sideso Abe I today prayed for the Agadagba elect of Arogbo-Ijaw in Ondo State, Barr. Doubra Egbunu as activities for his installations begins Wednesday this week.
Speaking when emissaries from Arogbo-Ijaw joined by some prominent Gbaramatu and Gbaran Chiefs from in Delta and Bayelsa States paid him a visit, Abe I promised to be in attendance of the installation of the Agadagba elect which will begin Wednesday this week.
“This is a prayer from Uvwie Kingdom. Take this kola to him. I pray for long life and prosperity,Peace in his Kingdom. During his time, there will be prosperity in his Kingdom.
“God will protect him and wife and the whole kingdom. God will bless and protect all of you as you have supported him. I also pray that day,there will be no problem at all.
” We will celebrate him. It will be a mark for every kingdom in Jesus Name. I want you to take this kola to him.”
Earlier in a remark, Chief Dennis Otuaro said Barr. Doubra Egbunu, a retired magistrate was selected as the Agadagba elect of the kingdon after many years of interregnum following the demise of their late king.
Chief Dennis noted that they were at the palace of the Ovie of Uvwie Kingdom to inform him of the selection and election of the new King of Arogbo-Ijaw.
Chief Otuaro stated that the traditional process for the installation as well as confirmation of the Agadagba elect will begin on Wednesday this week while the grand finale will be next week.
The Arogbo-Ijaw emissaries, Chief Long life Titiboh and Gbagi Emmanuel were accompanied by Barr. McDonald Igbediwei, Dennis Otuaro, Dr. Paul Bebenimibo and Mr. Ekomiefa Udubor from Gbaramatu and Gbaran Kingdoms.
Others are Chief Ebibomobowei Oguma and Mr. Z.E. Wanamu.
