
The All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for the Kaduna South Local Council Polls, who was declared winner after the rescheduled polls on June 6, has been presented with his certificates of return by the Kaduna State Independent Electoral Commission (KADSIECOM).
The ceremony, held at KADSIECOM’s head office in Kaduna and presided over by its Chairman, Dr. Saratu Dikko-Audu also witnessed presentation of certificates of return to those who won councillorship at the 13 wards.
Presenting the certificates, the Chairman of KADSIECOM, Dr. Dikko-Audu urged the chairman and the councilors to be ambassadors of good governance as their supporters and electorates who have imposef their trust on them through their votes are waiting and looking forward to seeing them deliver the dividends of democracy in the area.

She said leadership is not all about occupying positions, but that the elected should do all their best to perform and that if they do that, next time when they seek re-election, it will be very easy for them.
KADSIECOM Chairman used the opportunity to also thank the media and other supporters who in one way or the other, made the election successful.
In his response, Kabiru Jarimi who emerged the Chairman of Kaduna South Local Government Council, promised to do all his best in moving the local government forward.
He vowed that everybody would be carried-along, irrespective of party affiliation.
Jarimi called on all and sundry to support them, as they are also willing to do their best and make lives meaningful.
