Nigeria  To Host Men’s U-21 African Volleyball Nations Championship

     Nigeria’s profile  has been on a steady  rise,  a development  that has resulted  to its earning  of the hosting rights for the  2018 Men’s U-21 African Nations Championship in Abuja, Nigeria.
    It was gathered that CAVB,  the governing board  for  Volleyball  in Africa entrusted them to host as a result  of  excellent  facilities  and  a dedicated development  plan  for  the  game by administrators  in the country,  made the hosting  rights  known  on Tuesday,  June 19, 2018.
     The competition will be held from  September 12 to 19, 2018 for players who were born on 1st January 1999 or after.
     The final dates to confirm participation with all documents will be August 27, 2018.
    This championship will also act as a qualifier for the 2019 FIVB World Championship of this age category.
