Savannah Conference Volleyball League: Niger Come From Two Sets Down To Beat Bauchi

Niger  State  male team bounced back from 2-0 to beat Wikki of Bauchi  3-2 on Monday on Day two  of the ongoing  Savannah Conference Volleyball League at the Murtala Square  Kaduna.

Wikki had  won the first two sets 25/20, 25/23 before Niger came from behind to win the three  subsequent  sets 25/22, 26/24 and 15/9.

Hosts Kaduna  again failed to shine  as Nigeria Immigration  Service  (NIS)  trounced them 3-0.

NIS won  the sets,  25/16, 25/14 and 25/18.

Another part military  outfit,  Nigeria  Security  and Civil Defence Corps  (NSCDC)  thrashed Plateau  by three straight  sets.

The first  set ended 25/20, second and third both ended 25/18 respectively.

Kano who are the only state  team to have won two of their  games,  defeated  Spartans of Adam’s 3-1.

Spartans  drew the first blood as they won the first  set 25/20.

Second sets ended 25/20, third,  25/18 and fourth  25/21.

Female  matches  were just commencing  as at time of filing  this  report.
