
Kaduna’s female team at the ongoing Savannah Conference Volleyball League has won two consecutive matches back-to-back.
After winning the last match played on Day four against Zamfara by three straight sets, they went out smoking hot against Wikki of Bauchi on Thursday, beating them 3-1, coming from behind.

The first set ended 16-25, second 25-21, while the third and fourth sets ended 25-12 and 25-17 respectively.
In other female matches played, the Food Basket Girls from Benue failed to overcome the superior firing power of the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS), in spite of drawing the first blood by winning first set 25-23.
The second set went to NIS 25-23, while Benue picked the third 25-23.
Subsequent sets were won by NIS 25-18 and 15-4.
High flying Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) wasted no time in trouncing Wikki Girls 3-0 (25-6, 25-11, 25-10).
In the last female match of the day, Plateau failed to turn up, giving their opponents Spartans of Adam’s a smooth 0-3 advantage.
In the male match that was concluded as at time of filing this report, the boys from the Power State Niger, failed to overpower the NIS male team as they fell 0-3.
The first two sets ended 17-25 respectively and the third set witnessed a point improvement from Niger and ended 18-25.
