A front runner in the 2019 Presidential election,  Alhaji Sule  Lamido  on Thursday  stormed  Kaduna for consultation,  where  he made  a surprise  visit on another  Presidential aspirant,  Senator Ahmed Mohammed Makarfi.

Lamido,  a former governor of Jigawa State while at the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Kaduna State  secretariat,  told the party’s supporters that only PDP  can end the sufferings of Nigerians.

Chairman of the PDP Kaduna State,  Honourable Hassan Hyet said that Lamido has been a faithful member of the party all through.

He said within the last two years,  he stood behind  Makarfi,  to make the party formidable.

Hyet said they were grateful that at all times that they sought advice from him,  he was always there to avail his wealth of experience.

“You are a force to be reckoned with.  You see it black and call it black. You are in the minds of the people of Kaduna State. We will put you in our prayers because power comes from  God.

“When you  are through with Kaduna and you are moving out,  our prayers will always go with you.

“Let me condole you on the death of Malam Adamu Ciroma.. He was a fearless leader.

“We say no to what the police  are doing.  We say  no to what APC government is doing to silence opposition in Nigeria.

“They tried it through  Ali-Modu  Sherriff and failed,  now they want to do it through the police.  They will  fail,” Hyet added.
