Former Governor of Jigawa State, Alhaji Sule Lamido has said that he is sad that there is blood all over the country.
He expressed this while granting interview to newsmen in Kaduna, at the residence of Senator Ahmed Makarfi, whom he visited on Thursday.
“There is blood everywhere, go to Birnin Gwari Zamfara, Plateau. You don’t feel secured anywhere in the country. You don’t feel safe. This country is for all of us we have to salvage it, ” he said.
Speaking further, he said that he fears for democracy in the country, following recent happenings, as a result of antecedents of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
“I feel sad for democracy, our dear country Nigeria. Because people who took power through falsehood can’t now lead Nigeria.
On the chances of his party against the ruling party, he said that Nigerians are already fed up and are yearning for return of the PDP.
” PDP is history of democracy. Minus PDP, there will be no Buhari. It’s for Nigerians to compare and contrast.
“Nigerians today are in pains, agony and anger. PDP is the only party that can lead Nigeria,” he said.
Lamido said that APC are scared, they are desperate they fear losing power, a reason for the undemocratic incident involving Ekiti State Governor, Mr. Ayodele Fayose on Wednesday.
Earlier, he was at the PDP Kaduna State secretariat where he told party supporters that their party remained the only platform to save Nigeria from its present condition.
