The aide to Governor Nasir el-Rufai Dr. Uba Sani’s entrant into a function organised to present motorcycles to APC stakeholders in Chikun LGA caused an uproar as the hall used for the function of an empowerment programme for an All Progressives Congress (APC) aspirant for House of Representatives for Chikun/Kajuru Federal Constituency went into a frenzy.
Uba Sani arrived the venue at about 4:55pm, bringing life to the function which kicked off officially around 2pm.
The crowd became uncontrollable, screaming, ‘Nigeria sai Buhari, Kaduna State sai el-Rufai, Kaduna Central, sai Uba Sani and Chikun Kajuru sai Yari’ at the function, organised by Honourable Marcus Yari.
In his remarks, Dr. Uba Sani said that Yari has done a Honourable gesture for the party. He said he was not surprised because Kaduna State has the best lawmakers in the country.
“Yari is committed to the party and loyal to the state government. I am not surprised what he is doing today to give to the ward chairmen and the local government of the party.
” I am here to support him and to let the people of Chikun know that what he has done within three years, no other has done. On our part we know the APC is different from the PDP and this time around there will be change, replace PDP and ensure that Chikun becomes APC all through.
“We all know PDP is a failure and you have to justify that by voting for APC all through. I urge you to get your PVC so that you can use it to vote PDP out of power. We know PDP is minority in Chikun LGA so come out and vote PDP out.
“The problem we are having in Chikun is lack of unity. We must work together as one family. We must not allow people to use religion and ethnicity to divide us. What el-Rufai has done in three years, no other party has done. PDP are your enemies.
“Nobody should come and use religion again. We have our children, we have to make sure they get the best education. When we came to power, we realized PDP has done nothing they only go to churches and use religion, we have to change that.”
