PDP Condemns Kaduna Killings, Abduction Of Traditional Ruler

    The Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP), has condemned in strong terms the wanton killings at Kasuwan Magani and the kidnapping of the paramount ruler of Adara Chiefdom, Chief Maiwada Galadima.

    In a statement signed by its State Publicity Secretary, Kaduna, Abraham Alberah Catoh, the party called for calm and peaceful coexistence amongst the diverse society at Kasuwan Magani and the entire state.

    The PDP also advised the state government and all security agencies to make sure that the culprits of the crisis are brought to book and also do whatever is necessary to rescue the Agwom Adara, who was kidnapped on his way back to his domain,after attending an official function at the state capital.

    The party also called on security agencies to nib in the bud all security concerns plaguing the state and the country at large

    “We sympathize and condole with all bereaved persons and the injured; it is sad,” the party stressed further.

    The PDP maintained that our society cannot develop under an atmosphere of rancour, and there can never be any economic development without political stability.

    “We are appealing to the general public to always respect the rule of law by not taking the law into their hands”. It appealed.
