Bring Back Our DPO, Delta Community Leader Tells IGP

    The Inspector General of Police (IGP) Ibrahim Idris and the Delta State Commissioner of Police, CP Muhammad Mustafa has been asked to redeploy back to Warri, the Divisional Police Officer, “C” Division in Asaba, CSP Anieteh Eyoh.
    The President General of Makro family in Okere-Urhobo Kingdom, Chief Augustine Ighorue made the call on behalf of the Okere-Urhobo people in a chat with Our Correspondent in Warri.
    Chief Ighorue said the rate of crime and criminality in Warri was reduced to its barest minimum when CSP Anieteh Eyoh served as DPO “B” Division in Warri before he was transferred.
    Chief Ighorue also commended the Police Officer for his peaceful and law abiding roles in ensuring the Delta State Governor Presented a Staff of Office to the Orosuen of Okere-Urhobo Kingdom, HRM. (Prof.) Oghenero Paul Okumagba Idama III.
    “I wish to commend the DPO Avenue Police Station,Warri for his role in bringing down the crime rate to its barest minimum before he was transferred out of this place.
    “Now, we can see what is happening. Personally if I have the power, I will ask him to come back as the DPO of “B” Division Warri to continue where he stopped.
    “If the Government wants to bring him back, the Police should bring him back. But I am begging the IGP to bring back our DPO to continue his good works in the name of God.”
    Chief Ighorue made this statement just a day after the notorious gang leader of armed robber was gun down in Effurun near warri,  by the former DPO of B.division warri CSP Aniete Eyoh.
