Hoodlums Want To Replace Me With New King, Delta Monarch Cries Out From Hiding

    The Osuvie of Agbarho Kingdom in Ughelli North Local Government Area of Delta State, HRM. Samson Oghunghunwan on Monday evening said hoodlums who allegedly chased him out of his palace on Sunday want to install a new King.
    The monarch made the assertion in a chat with newsmen at Uvwie Local Government Area on Monday evening.
    The Osuvie narrated how the hoodlums attacked and pointed guns at his chest during the attacks on Sunday saying, “But i vanished”.
    He stressed, ” I had to escape from my palace.”
    According to him, “They tied my two wives up, kidnapped and beat them. They later released them for fear of what the outcome would be.
    “The hoodlums also took away the laptops,  mobile phones and other valuables belonging to the Police Orderly attached to me. I lost properties worth over twenty million Naira.
    “They beat my civilian gatemen and injured many people at the palace. Everyone is still hiding. Many are still nursing wounds.”
    The Osuvie said he is living in the midst of suspected criminals and ritualists.
    While noting that the matter is before the relevant authorities including the Urhobo Progress Union (UPU) Worldwide,  the Osuvie urged the people of Agbarho Kingdom to remain calm in the midst of the crisis rocking the traditional stool.
    He said, “There can be no two kings under my reign. This is gazetted.
    In another twist,  the hoodlums AUTHENTIC News Daily learnt that they have enthroned a new King on Monday evening after the original king was chased out and his Staff of Office seized from him.
    The new Osuvie of Agbarho Kingdom is,  HRH. Williams Onokpite.
    In his acceptance speech shortly after he was installed,  he said, “I will not be a meddlesome king.”
