Oma Life Foundation, Kaduna Govt Commence 2018 Skills Acquisition, Capital Intervention Project

    Oma Life  Rescue Foundation (OLRF) in partnership with Ministry of Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs and the 23 Local Government Councils, has commenced  Skills Acquisition and Capital Intervention Project Kaduna State 2018.

    Founder/CEO Oma Life Foundation,  Dr. Oma  Ameh-Ani (Mrs.) in her remarks, said that poverty is a huge problem in the nation. Says poverty remains significant in the country, in spite of its natural resources and wealth.

    “Our heart full of gratitude we are blessed to have support of other foundations as well as MTN and GTBank

    All the 23 LGAs in Kaduna State are partnering us on this and  made donations that will make it successful,” she said.

    Representative of Commissioner of Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Malam Hassan Junaid in his remarks, said that he was delighted to be at the event.

    He said that what the foundation is doing will complement efforts of what the State Government is doing.

    He said that efforts are been made to empower youth just like the foundation is doing.

    Speaking further, he commended the foundation and charged youth chosen to benefit to concentrate so they can be empowered to further benefit their families and the society.

    He charged others to support the gesture so that it can be successful.

    It was gathered that the training would be commencing on Tuesday December 11, 2018 by 11am prompt.

    Our correspondent also gathered that participants are expected to be registered on December 10 after they have been screened.

    The trainings feature vulcanizers, motor cyclists and tailors.

    According to the organisers, trainees will be fed breakfast and lunch daily.

    It was also gathered that participants from outside Kaduna metropolis will be accommodated in hotels all through the programme.

    Organisers also made it clear that only those who are fully trained will be given grants and machines, as there will be strict monitoring of attendance.
