For Third Consecutive Time, Blue House Win Faith Academy Kaduna Inter-House Sports

    Blue House for the record third time back-to-back, have emerged champions  of the 2019 edition of the Faith Academy Inter House Sports Competition. The garnered 463 points almost 30 points ahead of Red House who pulled 435 points to finish on the second spot at the event held on Saturday at the school’s sports complex. Third position went to Green House after they garnered 349 points, while Hello House settled for the fourth position with 320 points. Most Valuable Athlete prize, donated by MicroManna Computers was presented to Peace Lekwot after winning 15 gold medals. In the invitational schools relay, Coach Felix Academy led the pack in the male category to claim the gold in primary schools category. Second position went to hard fighting Air Force Primary School, while Jesuit Academy claimed the bronze. In the girls category, Air Force Primary School finished tops, Police School placed second and Jesuit Schools picked the bronze. Jinie College claimed the gold in the invitational relay.  Challawa School were second, while Our Lady of Fatima Secondary School placed third. Coach Felix Academics & Sport Foundation emerged the champions of the Champions relay Challenge. In the boys category, Airforce Comprehensive Secondary School finished first,  Onward Baptist High School won silver and  Government Secondary Day School, Sabo settled for bronze. Principal of the school, Pastor Edopkolor D.I. expressed optimism that an ultra modern sports complex would be ready before the next edition. He said he was happy that this year’s edition was an improvement over previous held. In an interview, Sports Facilitator of Faith Academy, Coach Felix Osiebe said that over 400 medals were presented in this year’s edition.  He assured that there would be improvement in the next edition, as plans are on to include more technical games as well as introduce 100m race for invited schools. Thirty schools participated in the inter house sports invitational relay, comprising 25 secondary and five primary schools from different parts of Kaduna metropolis.
