The PDP Governorship candidate in Zamfara State, Alhaji Bello Matawalle has decried votes buying at polling booth.
Matawalle who made the allegation shortly after casting his votes at his polling unit, said APC officials were caught openly buying votes.
” I saw a serving councillor sharing money to the electorate at a polling unit while casting their votes”, he stressed.
According to him, another irregularity that occurried in the election was shortage of ballots papers of National Assembly, made up of the senatorial candidates and members house of representatives in some polling units.
He said reports across, my party officials, indicated that there were of materials in five local government areas of Tsafe, Kaura Namoda, Gusau, Maradun and Anka.
“The election was relatively peaceful but the only challenge was on the part of INEC officials”, he explained.
He urged INEC to take lesson from the Saturday’s election to improve in the upcoming election.
