Propelled by its desire towards providing easy banking transactions in Northern Nigeria in particular and Nigeria as a whole, through agency banking system, famous northern based Bizi Mobile Cashless Consultants Limited, in collaboration with Ja’iz Bank have unveiled a new branch in Dutse, the capital of Jigawa State.
The colorful occasion, was attended by many stakeholders that are versatile in agency banking, from Lagos and Abuja, as well as outside the shores of Nigeria from Kenya, South Africa and representatives of the Central Bank of Nigeria CBN.
Also, many top banking professional gurus, representatives from National Orientation Agency (NOA), leaders of many reputable organizations within and outside Nigeria, business men and women, business groups, youths association and traditional rulers graced the occasion.
In his remarks at the occasion, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Bizi Mobile Cashless Consultants Limited, High Chief Aminu Aminu Bizi said, agency banking through Ja’iz Bank, was to ease doing business and banking transactions among especially rural dwellers, Small Scale enterprises both women and youth.
The High Chief lamented that, Northern Nigeria has been left behind in terms of agency banking when compared to the other parts of the country that had gone far, stressing that, this trend must be changed for success in agency banking to be recorded in the region.
According to him, in this regard, as part of the efforts to reverse the trend, their company in collaboration with Ja’iz Bank has decided to commission the Jigawa branch, to ease banking transactions through agency banking as well as to secure interest free loans to small scale business intersperses that have registered with Bizi Mobile and also opened accounts with Ja’iz Bank.
He then urged small scale businesses, especially in Jigawa and other states in the region not to be left out in using the advantage to enhance their businesses.
Also in their separate remarks at the occasion, representatives of CBN, Hassan Aliyu, Abdulwahab Galadima, a representative of MD jaiz Bank, and NOA’s representative, Malam Abdul-Hafiz Muhammad, expressed their satisfaction on the efforts of Bizi Mobile Cashless Consultants Limited under the able leadership of Alhaji Aminu Bizi for finding ways of easing business among the people in the region, particularly among rural dwellers.
