As part of its ongoing Fidelity Savings Loyalty Scheme (FSLS), customers of Fidelity Bank PLC across Northern Nigeria have been rewarded with N73 million.
Branch Leader, Fidelity Bank, Zaria, Abiodun Moses disclosed this when the winners of FSLS received their dummy cheques at the Sabin Gari Market, Zaria on Thursday August 1, 2019.
“12 winners emerged today, comprising individuals and groups. N500,000 is given to groups every three months.
“When you open an account be sure you would win. Fidelity is our bank and we are out there to support our customers,” he added.
He charged winners to be good ambassadors of the bank.
He said every account holder is qualified to win N500,000 for savings account and N150,000 for SWETA accounts for children under 16 years.
On how winners emerge, he said that they are selected randomly based on the total customers they have.
He said the Loyalty Reward has been ongoing for five years.
Representative of the Market Chairman, Alhaji Ibrahim Mai Gold, Alhaji Sardauna Tanko in his remarks, said that the chairman and other members are happy that their market was chosen for the event.
He said that all the main beneficiaries are from Sabin Gari Market, which they are excited about.
He said the market will never forget the bank.
Also speaking, Chairlady of the market, Mrs. Paulina David said that Fidelity did well by calling them to come and receive rewards.
She said with the rewards coming at a time like this when economy is harsh, it is a welcome development.
“They have a conducive banking system which is benefitting the market community, ” she added.
The SWETA account winner for N150,000 was Suchet Jochebed Isuwa, whose cheque was presented by Fidelity Bank’s senior staff, Mrs. Ifeoma Adeniyi.
The father of the winner said when they received the call, they thought it was fraudsters but they are happy that they have been presented with the dummy cheque.
A N500,000 cheque was presented by Mr. Majeed Yusuf to Uchenna Mathew Ogbodo under individual account owners.
For group account owners, N500,000 was presented to Ideato North Progressive Union by Abiodun Moses, assisted by Sardauna Tanko
Responding, Chairman Ideato North LGA Association, Zaria branch, Longinus Amunike vowed that the mony will be used judiciously, he further promised that all their members would n accounts with the bank.
He said that the Union has been banking with Fidelity for 15 years.
