In a press conference in Abuja on Friday evening, Dr.Sani angrily accused the President, Muhammad Buhari of being behind the arrests just to intimidate the Presidential candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) into abandoning his quest to recover his stolen mandate.

” I can tell you for free that the arrest of Babalele and Uyi is just nothing but the handiwork of President Muhammad Buhari ” he said.

“The Presidency is doing all this to make sure Atiku abandons his quest to recover our stolen mandate via judicial process.

“First they accused Atiku of treason, then they came up with another whimsical allegation that Atiku is acting like the President of the Federal Republic .”Now it is the Atiku’s son Inlaw they are after , but we can never be silence”.

The youth and rights  activist also called the attention of the international community into what he termed as the provocative cum biased attitude of the Federal Government asking the international community to call the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria to order.

” I am appealing to all the human right organizations, the United States of America, USA, France, Britain and Germany to wade into the constant and personal attacks on Dr.Atiku Abubakar and his family members by the Buhari administration.

These countries should put pressure on Buhari and prevail on his to release Babalele and Uyi” he said
