Dutsinma expressed optimism that the ugly trend of insecurity is however surmountable especially if there is collective will by all and sundry towards confronting it with view to addressing the problems.

The commandant tasked the good people of the state to improve on vigilance and  timely report of suspected persons and acts for swift response to nib ugly situations in the bud.

At the moment, many people have adopted this strategy by drawing attention of security agencies to suspected people, acts and movements, yet a large percentage have not really embraced it, such attitude must change if we are to address the problems affecting us, Dutsima added.

He continued “there is determination on our part towards addressing the menace of insecurity, however, we may be handicapped if public collaboration is inadequate .”
