Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Northern famous Bizi Mobile Cashless Consultant Limited, Dr. Aminu Aminu Bizi, has distanced himself over a report credited to him by one so-called Lagos state based medium that every agent of POS transaction must first pay  and register with Kano State Government before they can be allowed to operate in the state.
The MD/CEO Bizi mobile in a statement he signed and issued to newsmen in Kaduna said, “ it’s mischievous because I did not grant any interview to this medium so called (business a.m) and never to any electronic stations.”
Dr. Aminu Bizi stressed that it was not true that there is any directive like that from Kano State Government and all the POS agents operating in the state should outrightly disregard that purported report, which was ‘mischievously cooked to tarnish their hard earned reputation.
According to Dr. Amini Bizi, it is a law that has said anybody who wants to engage in business activities of any kind, must pay tax to the government before he gets his certificate permit, including the POS agents and this is binding on them.
His words, ”Out of 95 per cent of them, they don’t  pay tax to the state government, stressing that some of them  don’t even have tax certificates.
He also called on media houses to always be objective in their reportage.
The Chairman and Chief Executive Officer  said, his company in collaboration with Kano State Government  through  the state ministry  of commerce, had signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU)  under which the state government directed  Bizi Mobile to collect  tax, register all  places of businesses as well as, to sensitize, screen all POS Agents  in the state. According to him, apart from this, there no other places that the state government or his company informed that such POS operators in the state must  register with the    Kano State Government before they are allowed to operate in the state.
Dr. Bizi further explained that the circular released by the  CBN  stipulates that any interested agent must first meet  the terms and condition  that guide requirements before he or she is duly an agent in every state.
Dr. Aminu Bizi then called on people, especially cashless (POS) operators to ignore that baseless news attributed to him because it has basis.
