We Will Accord Education Priority In Kagarko LGA – Chairman

    The Kagarko Government Council in Kaduna State has reaffirmed its resolve to invest and accord priority to the growth and development of education in the area.
    This is to compliment the developmental drive of Kaduna State Government towards guaranteeing free and qualitative education for all,especially they less privileged in the society.
    Speaking at the 2019 Kaduna polytechnic Quantity Survey Students Day in Kaduna, Chairman of Kagarko Local Council, Mr Nasara Rabo enjoined government at all levels to intensify efforts towards investing more on technical and vocational education.
    Mr Nasara Rabo who is an alumnus of the Kaduna polytechnic,commended the management of the polytechnic for sustaining the enduring legacies of the institution.
    The Kagarko local council chairman also pointed with the on going construction of a model science secondary school and the complession and renovation and of many primary and secondary schools by the Kaduna state government, students from the area can now compete favourably with their counterpart in parts of the state and the nation at large.
    While commissioning some of the projects executed for his alma mata, the Kagarko Local Council boss explained that the gesture was to encourage and ameliorate the challenges being faced by students of the Quantity Survey Department at the Kaduna Polytechnic.
    Responding, the Director of the College of Environmental Sciences in the polytechnic, Dr Ibrahim Bello Bashir who was represented by the Dean of Land Administration, Dr Lateef Olawole thanked the Kagarko Local Council chairman for the gesture and called on other alumni of Kaduna Polytechnic to emulate him.
    In a remark, Chairman of the Kaduna State chapter of the Nigerian Institute of Quantity Surveyors, Mr Paul Anahve expressed satisfaction over the rural transformation drive initiative of the Kagarko council chairman.
    Mr  Anahve opined that the items donated if properly utilised, would enhance the students surveyors reading and practicals culture as well put the quantity survey department ahead of other departments at the Kaduna Polytechnic.
    Earlier, President of the Quantity Survey Students Association, Kaduna polytechnic chapter, Comrade Enjoy Stanley thanked the management of the polytechnic and the Kagarko LGA chairman for  the gesture, stressing that he is a true ambassador of the Kaduna Polytechnic.
    The Kaduna polytechnic quantity survey students day was commemorated with the unveiling of the upgraded ICT Lab, solar panels for the lecture halls and the presentation of a projector by the Kagarko Local Council chairman.
