Second National Bible Competition: We Will Take Nigeria-Israeli RelationshipTo Another Level – Ambassador

    The Israeli Ambassador to Nigeria, Mr.Shimon Ben- Shosan has pledged to take Nigeria Israeli diplomatic relations to  greater heights adding that his country and Nigeria have a lot to benefit from each other 

    He was speaking  at the grand finale of the Second National Biblw contest which held at the National Christian Center in Abuja on the theme: “Unveiling The Treasures of The Land.”

    Mr.Ben Shoshan who praised the people of Nigeria, opined that  Nigeria  like Israel is blessed with many people who are visionaries hence the need for the two nations to collaborate in various areas of interests especially in the field of Biblical quiz and technology
    He said, “I have already unveiled that the land of Nigeria is blessed and the people are blessed with many visionaries and entrepreneurs amongst them, some of the unique artists I have ever ever met.

    “As you all know, the Jewish people were blessed by receiving the Bible and have studied it for centuries, day and night. The study of the Bible, brothers and sisters, is the unveiled secret of our culture of innovation nowadays”.

    He went on to state that the relations between his country and Nigeria is on the right course “The diplomatic relationship between Nigeria and Israel is good and we are working towards taking this relationship to another level,”

    The seasoned diplomat also expressed the hope that women will increase their participation in subsequent bible quizzes.

    He then awarded the first three winners of the Second National Bible Quiz  all expenses paid trip to Israel, adding that the winners will be special guests of honour at the annual international Bible contest in Israel this December.

    In recent times, the Embassy of Israel has gradually reached out to Nigerian citizens in many areas such as Bible Quiz, training of farmers and imparting new technologies to the citizens, however, many Nigerians are of the opinions that Israel to do more in Nigeria .
