FCMB Beat Fidelity 2-0, Top Kaduna Corporate League Table

    Defending champions, First City Monument Bank (FCMB), have leaped into lead at the 10th edition of the ongoing Kaduna Corporate League Cup after their 2-0 win over Fidelity Bank over the weekend.

    Peterson Bagobiri scored both goals for FCMB.

    In the second match, Bank of Agriculture (BOA) reduced the chances of Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) from qualifying for the semi-finals by beating them  3-1.

    Omale Hassan scored two goals for BOA with Hamza abdulahi scoring one,while sulieman shehu scored the only goal for CBN. 

    The third match between Guarantee Trust Bank (GTbank) and Sterling Bank did not take place. 

    FCMB are topping the table with nine points, BOA second also with nine points, while Fidelity Bank are third with six points.

    The first placed team will play the third placed team in the first semi-final, while the second placed team will play the fourth placed team in the second semi-finals.

    The tournament is organised by Sodak Consult and supported by Wadson International.
