*CEO says more families need help

Hundreds of residents of Ungwan Bulus, Sabon Tasha in Chikun Local Government Area of Kaduna metropolis on Tuesday, heaved a sigh of relief as a non governmental organization (NGO), TEWORH Foundation stormed the area with food items.
This was targeted at reducing the hardship being faced as a result of the curfew imposed by the Kaduna State Government to prevent the spread of the deadly CoronaVirus.
The convoy of three vehicles with seven volunteers of the group, distributed rations of grains, palm oil, cubes seasoning, salt and other items packaged in disposable bags to each families.
CEO/Founder of TEWORH Foundation, Abdulwahab Suraj Olaniyi told the beneficiaries that the token was brought to them to ease hardships some families that depended on daily incomes were facing.
“We want you to obey the guidelines and order given by the Kaduna State Government in respect of preventing the spread of the CoronaVirus also known as COVLD-19.
“Ensure you comply to social distancing, washing of hands frequently under running water with soap and embrace self isolation,” he said.
He explained to them that though some might find the curfew unpleasant at the moment, they will be glad at the end of the day that it was in their own good and that of their families.
“As you can see, they were trooping out of their houses to come and get the rations, so many more need this support. We call on corporate organisations and public spirited individuals to support so more can benefit.

He commended those that have contributed so far to the cause, as well as volunteers that have assisted with the distribution.
Responding on behalf of the beneficiaries, an elder in the community, Mr. Emmanuel Sunday thanked the Foundation for the gesture.
“We are happy that you remembered us in our times of need. We pray God Almighty continues to bless you and replenish the funds used in buying these items,” he said.
He assured that they will keep obeying the government and adhere to all the advice handed out on the virus.
It would be recalled that on Monday, the foundation distributed food items to the less privileged around Kaduna North Local Government Area of the metropolis.
