TEWORH Foundation’s volunteers;  Ibrahim Hamed, Meshach Jackden, Ibrahim Magaji, Muinat Adeoye Bimpe, Habeeba Moh’ Alfa, Abdulmajid Tayo  Mustapha, Kafeelah Olanrewaju Bukola, Mohammed Sani, Abdulkadir, Summayya Abdulwahab and Umar Abdulwahab stormed the community around noon.
As soon as they arrived the area, residents, especially women started trooping out to collect their share of the gifts.
CEO/Founder of TEWORH Foundation, Suraj Abdulwahab Olaniyi told the beneficiaries that the token was brought to them to ease hardships some families that to boost their nutritional intake.
“We want you to obey the guidelines and order given by the Kaduna State Government in respect of preventing the spread of the CoronaVirus also known as COVID-19.

“Ensure you comply to social distancing, washing of hands frequently under running water with soap and embrace self isolation,” he said.
Speaking to our correspondent shortly after the distribution, Olaniyi said that the gesture was targetted at ensuring families are healthy through consumption of the right food.
“The world over, it is advised that egg is consumed especially by children. We came out here to do the little we can in respect of that,” he said.
He explained the thousands of eggs distributed were graciously donated by  farm in Kaduna.
“We are grateful to Elegant Fisheries and Farms located around Kano Road within the Kaduna metropolis for heeding our call and touching so many families.

“We also extend profound gratitude to the donors of bread, who don’t want to be mentioned, they prefer to remain anonymous,” he said.

He appealed for more support, stressing that so many more out there could not get the items they distributed even though they turned up hoping to get some.

“As you can see, they were trooping out of their houses to come and get the items. So many more need this support. When we exhausted the bread, some families got only eggs. We call on corporate organisations and public spirited individuals to support so more can benefit.

“They can reach us through 08094349929 or contribute to our account TEWORH SSC, JAIZ Bank 0003574630,” he appealed.

It was gathered that before arriving Sabon Tasha, the volunteers had done some distribution of same items in Kaduna North LGA.
They departed the area around 1:30pm, with plans to further extend the gesture to other communities.
