The sole Administrator of Asabari LCDA, Engr Sarafadeen Omirinde of Oke Ogun area of Oyo State has on Wednesday, received a swearing in certificate from Oyo State Government.
In his speech, Engr Omirinde said, “I am delighted and indeed honoured to welcome the board of transition Committee member.
“I must confess that indeed God rules over the affairs of men, otherwise you would not be here today, as the new members of Asabari LCDA. It is also expedient to commend the effort our Indefatigable His Excellency Gov Seyi makinde for the mandate being given to you.
“Nevertheless, “I want to implore you as you are sworn-in today to remain steadfast in your support for this administration’s vision to avoid unnecessary elongation of our dear state. With your support and cooperation, the stability we have achieved and the parity of Government we are having, will be sustained God helping us”.
Omirinde charged the committee of maximum cooperation and call attention for honesty, because the new era of Oyo state government will not condoned any form of corruption and other fraudulent acts.
The honourable secretary who spoke on behalf of other caretaker committee, appreciated Gov Seyi Makinde, chairman and the people of Asabari LCDA for giving them the opportunity to serve and appealled that during their service in office.
He assured that they will discharge their duties faithfully as they affirmed to support and defend the constitution of Federal Republic of Nigeria and their tenure in office will be a reflection of good governance.
The Governor’s representative who is also a Special Adviser on Political Matters to the Governor Seyi makinde and a Laison Officer of Old Ifedapo Constituency in person of (Hon) Lukman Adisa Adamawa while congratulating the committee members.
He explained that Asabari LCDA is among if not the largest LCDA in the state which comprises of many valuable things to the Government for being the area of agriculture and socio-economic of the state.
Hon Adisa, while advising the members of committee on behalf of His Excellency, he said, the present administration is not in tolerance of corruption and urged them to seize this opportunity to write their names in gold.
“So, by the time they leave their respective offices, the people of Asabari will have a cause to be recall them back because this is service to the humanity,” he said.
He also said, he was under seven local Government Areas but because Asabari LCDA was in his community, he seized the opportunity to grace the event and the council boss in person of Engr Sarafadeen Omirinde is a leader with progressive mindedness and also prayed they shall prosper in their respective offices.
Dignataries who graced the swearing-in programme included S.A on Political Matters to the Governor, Hon Lukman Adamawa, Director of Finance Adebayo Abiola, the anchor, Barrister Adesokan, politicians among others.
