A popular Imo business man, High Chief Felix Ifeanyi Ojimba displayed a rare and uncommon generosity within the week when he donated relief materials worth N25M to the less privileged people in all the Communities in Ideato North Local Government Area of Imo State .
High Chief Felix Ifeanyi Ojimba who is also the chairman (CEO) and founder of the multinational corporation, Transtel Group of Companies, saw the need to alleviate the suffering encountered by the people of Ideato communities and so doled out bags of rice, cartons of noodles, tubers of yam and gallons of high quality vegetable oil.
At least each beneficiary got 1 bag of rice, 2 cartons of noodles, 3 jumbo size tubbers of yam and 1gallon of oil.
The palliatives were given to each of the PGs of the communities in Ideato for onward cum immediate distribution to the indigenes of the areas.
Chief Ojimba who stressed the need for the rich in and across the country to come to the aid of the needy had this to say,
“I crave the indulgence of every well-meaning Nigerian whom God has blessed to emulate this compassionate and philanthropic gesture at this time of hardship brought upon the people via the COVID-19 pandemic”
“A smile on the face of the people at this time is all we need. Aku ruo ulo, they say, let your people benefit and God will always bless you!!! Givers, they say, never lack” he added.
One of the recipients, Mazi Emeka Agwu, thanked the chief for his kind gesture, saying ” if not for all the food items distributed by the chief, my family and I would have suffered immense hunger as the CoronaVirus plague has put a virtual stop to all form of businesses in Ideato”.
” it is with great pleasure that I am expressing my gratitude to him’.
Mrs Amaka Nnamdi whose husband is no long working also commended the efforts of the multibillionare for putting a smile on the faces of the Ideato people .
It would be recalled that since the arrival of COVID-19 pandemic also called CoronaVirus, virtually all sectors of the Nigerian economy has grinded to a halt putting strain on the financial capabilities of Nigerians. However, few Nigerian millionaire have given out palliatives to the citizens and High Chief Felix Ojimba happened to be amongst the uncommon Nigerians.
