The Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA) stunned visitors to the Academic Branch Exhibition held at the Mahmood Yakubu Hall, Afaka-Mando Kaduna on Wednesday May 27, 2020.
Innovations displayed included to automated disinfection Chambers, aimed at checking the spread of the deadly CoronaVirus also known as COVID-19.
One of the disinfection Chambers is chemical based, while the other works with ultraviolet.
Commandant of the NDA, Major General Jamil Sarham who led other visitors to the exhibition, was excited by several innovations on display.
Other innovations on display included complete surveillance system, multimedia electronic microscope, smart surveillance sniper rifle and liquid soap making machine.
Also on display were the exercise bicycle for irrigation and landscaping, mornings oil milling machine, ginger slicing machine and dual powered low melting point furnace.
A solar powered maize sheller, liquid soap making machine, finger print recognition for rifle operation and side car for perimeter patrol and escort duty were also on display.
Similarly, interlocking tiles produced from locust beans waste Ash, bricks from egg shell Ash, solar meat dryer (kilishi), biodiesel reactor and an improved version of demountable water treatment plant were also on display.
