Taraba PDP Chairman Loyalists Ousted In Ward Coup

There is a sort of confusion because of the unresolved crisis rocking the Peoples Democratic party ( PDP) of Taraba State under the leadership of  Mr Victor Bala.

It would be recalled that last month, Victor Bala as the chairman of the party in the state called for the lnauguration of ward and local government executives in Sardauna LGA.

The inauguration that later conducted amidst many controversies and was challenged by some notable party men of the area.

The impromptu coming of Barr.Tafi Warwar and Buba Saidu Kune who conducted another fresh inauguration in Warwar wards  and described the one conducted by  the leadership of Victor Bala as a kangaroo action,  lacking the party’s constitutional guidelines is another deepening crisis that might likely consume the party.

Buba Saidu,a civil servant parading himself as an aide to Executive Governor of the state, Arch Ishaku Darius  according to one Daniel Peter, a PDP grassroots mobiliser that the said Buba  is coming under the instructions of the Governor.

Daniel Peter who witnessed the inauguration said he is confused with what happened, a new arrangement which according to him, did not follow due process.

“We in Warwar have seen wonders today, we don’t know which one to even believe now, but from all indication, the PDP in Taraba is under a serious crisis that needs the intervention of officials from the national office else another party  will take over the state. A house that divided against itself cannot stand.” He said

He revealed that Saidu who has been in opposition to his knowledge and never worked in the interest of the party, is now a deciding factor of what’s happening in the party in Warwar is giving him the shock of his life.

“The crisis in Taraba PDP needs an urgent intervention because the prolonged unresolved party internal squabbles will expose the party to a defeat and for a total taking over by another party if care is not taken.” Daniel added.
