The Deputy Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly, Rt Hon Christopher Ochor Ochor has felicitated with the wife of the State Governor, Dame Edith Okowa on her birthday.
The Deputy Speaker extolled the first lady for her zeal of love towwrds the needy, and welfare of the general poor in the state, with her work using the 05 Initiative.

In a statement by his Press Secretary, Mr. Emmanuel Enebeli on Monday, Hon Ochor stated that her passion to help uplift lives of Deltans and non Deltans, who had benefited from her medical outreach had gone a longway to take care of the poor and elderly irrespective of religious or political divide. Hon Ochor prayed that as she celebrates, she should not relent in her love to help humanity, as it had shown God has given her the passion to attend to the sick, and elderly, which can be likened to Mother Teresa of Calcutta.
“Your passion to help uplift lives of Deltans and non Deltans through your medical outreach program, have helped the sick, and poor especially the elderly and those suffering from Sickle Cell Anemia.
“As you celebrate ma, we encourage you to continue, and not to relent in your passion to always help humanity, as your love for the welfare of man can only be compared to Mother Teresa of Calcutta, who was so passionate about uplifting the sick, the poor and the elderly to a better life.
“Madam, I, my family and stafff celebrate with you on this special occasion. we pray for God to continue to guide you, strengthen you, and empower you to always respond to the needy in the society._
