Adamawa business tycoon and philanthropist, Alhaji Abdullahi Bashir Haske has described the death of Bachama Paramount tradition ruler, Chief Honest Stephen Irmiya as a great loss to the state and Nigeria as a nation.
According to him, his first encounter with late Irmiya has shown that his down to earth humane nature was unique and made him an ideal leader.
He said his departure has created a huge gap that it is only through divine counsel that they can get another man to wear the shoe he has left.
“Honest is the most friendly first class Chief I have ever seen, he is down to earth and relates well with all manner and classes of people.
” I know the man has left us with good indelible marks of greatness that would forever be green in our minds that he lived well for the sake of humanity.
“My words of consolation goes to the people of Numan federation, especially the Bachama and Bwatiye ethnic nationalities that God should give us a man like Honest.” Haske prayed.
