Ebonyi: Caretaker Chairman Vows To End Internal Rift

    The caretaker Chairman Izzi Local Government Area, Hon. Paul Uyo Ugboloko has during the security meeting held at the council headquarters on Saturday afternoon vowed to bring to an end misunderstanding going on in different parts of the area.
     He made the declaration at the council headquarters,Iboko during security and familiarization meeting, stating that development only thrived at the atmosphere of peace and tranquility.
    He posited that like his boss, the Governor of the state is known as a man of peace that he would end at nothing to reunites every Community facing internal crisis but urged the people for their support.
    The Caretaker Chairman lauded stakeholders of Izzi Local Government Area for turning en mass to honour his invitation which is the first sign of love and assured them of ensuring the grassroot fill true impact of Umahi lead administration in every villages of the council.
    In his contribution, the honourable member Representing Izzi East Constituency,Hon. Anthony Nwegede, Jp appreciated the caretaker Chairman for his good start, tasking him of all inclusive governance.
    Lending his voice, Mr. Nduka Nwokpo said the Chairman have just demostrated that with the support of all of them that he would succeed.” I encourage you to from time to time engage stakeholders on same exercise and I must say thatWe will always be of help as nobody is too busy to attend to issue that will promote peace and Unity in his local government Area”.
    “Peace is number one priority for every society and i encourage our Fulani brothers to embrace peace for Izzi people are peace loving people”.
     On his part, the erstwhile caretaker Chairman, Hon. Peter Iteshi, advised the caretaker Chairman to be a good listener especially those coming from technocrat even as they work together,  and should avoid rumour mongers.
    Also, the former caretaker Chairman and present Special Assistant to the Governor on special project, Hon. Richard idike,  pointed out that a good service open doors for better place.
    “I  advise you to carry everybody along and you should know that security should be your pivotal and focal point as many communities are faced with different issues but you should seek advice from stakeholders as you go about it.
    Member Ebonyi Fertilizer Board, Hon. Goodwin Abiri,Hon.Nwuzor, Chairman of Coordinating Coordinators Izzi LGA and Mr. Vincent Nwovu, thanked the Chairman for resuming Office with the invitation of stakeholders and assured him of their genuine support.
    In an interview, Chief Boniface Achi,  advised  host communities in the state and herdsmen to live in peace, cautioning the herders to follow the directive given by the people who are mostly farmers and would not be happy to loose their crops and farmlands to their animals. 
    The elderly State man blamed increase cases of youth restiveness to the way politicians promote them by encouraging them to engage in all manners of ill life, thereby, bailing them whenever they are apprehended by security agencies.
     Meanwhile, the Caretaker Chairman maintained that he had picked names from various villages to constitute vigilante group, and pledged to continue assisting farmers in any capacity possible.
    The meeting was in attendance past Chairman Loca Government Area, Permanent Secretary serving and retired, House of Assembly member,leaders Fulani Community and representative of Community youths.
