The Captain of Crown Football Club of Ogbomoso, Adejare Adeniyi Sunday has sent a get well soon message to the Oyo State Commissioner For Youth And Sports, Asiwaju Seun Fakorede, who was tested positive to Coronavirus few days ago.
The longest serving captain of the Ajilete Warriors who spoke on behalf of all the players wished the youngest commissioner the very quickest recovery from the dead pandemic believing strongly that he will be back very much healthier, stronger and better.
In his words,” it saddened my heart and all the players felt too bad and worried on hearing from the commissioner that he was tested positive to COVID-19,though asymptomatic and very hale and healthy”.
” He has always led by example. The last time he came to Ogbomoso, he was on his face mask, kept the usual social distancing order and made use of hand sanitizer frequently. He admonished us to be very careful in our daily activities to ensure we are safe as only the living can play the game”.
” So you could imagine how devastating and worrisome one could feel if such a person is said to have been tested positive to COVID-19″,
” I salute his bravery, courage and comportment for reaching out to the good people of Oyo State, most especially the youths, whom he heads and believe were always on the move for survival”.
“Isolating himself to curb the spread shows how caring and loving he is. We will keep praying for him and we strongly believe that he will come back very soonest fresher, stronger and in very sound health by the Special Grace Of God”.
” I want to use this medium to tell everybody out there that COVID-19 is very real and we should be very careful in our daily pursuit for survival by maintaining social distancing, regular hand washing, use of hand sanitizers and wearing of nose masks orders”.
‘Let us try as much as possible to do all things to support the state government and other agencies who are working assiduously to ensuring the curb of this disease.”Janla,as the captain is fondly called reiterated.
The youngest commissioner is very healthy at his isolation place and in few days he will be tested negative and return back to the society that he is striving to making it a better place for youths through his many developmental programmes.
