Ebonyi Commissioner Declares State Of Emergency On Cleanliness

    In order to achieve the aims and objectives of the ministry of Environment , the Commissioner for Environment Comrade Jonah Egba has declared coming Saturday, the 18th July, 2020, state of emergency on cleanliness in the state.

    Comrade Egba announced this in a brief with the Environmental Marshal and coordinators on Thursday in his office at Centenary City ,Abakaliki.

    The Commissioner expressed displeasure on the unhealthy status of the Capital city adding that every rubbish in the state would be totally removed on Saturday to enable him take off as the Commissioner.

    His words,” By Saturday we are declaring state of emergency on cleanliness. Every refuse in this state will be removed and then we will start off to make our own name”

    “We must continue to pass. Our destination is to make Ebonyi the cleanest state in the Country” he said.
