The Gubernatorial Candidate of National Rescue Movement (NRM), Stevie Ozono has called on Nigerian Muslims to use this Eid-El Kabir occasion to pray for a better and peaceful Nigeria devoid of any form oppression be it religious or political.
Mr Ozono, who spoke through his Campaign Director of Media and Communication, Pastor Shedrach Oka, urged the Muslim Ummah to trust in the Almighty Allah and use this occasion to pray for solutions to the various problems bedeviling the nation.
Similarly, Mr.Ozono also felicitated with the Muslim community in Edo State wishing them a happy Eid-El Kabir.
“I wish to congratulate all Edo people on this special day and they should remember the words of a great scholar that once said, that we are brothers in faith or brothers in humanity.
“It is to this end, that I urge all Edolites to unite and vote the NRM and hope for better days when we come into office .
By the grace of Almighty God whom we all serve and worship, Edo shall be free of the dubious shackles of poverty, backwardness, waywardness, moving back and forth, and forth and back .
Ozono further admonished the candidates of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Governor Godwin Obaseki and the All Progressives Congress (APC), Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu not to disobey the voice of God Almighty by trying to cheat their ways to power adding that God and Edo have rejected them.
